MultiSpool
Our MultiSpool
Great that you are interested in the recycling factory MultiSpool interested in.
By introducing our refills in conjunction with the reusable MultiSpool, we have taken another important step towards even more sustainable 3D printing. It's great that you are a part of it!
For those of you who want to print your own MultiSpool, we offer two 3MF files (PRUSA & Bambu Lab) and one STL file HERE . The 3MF files are perfectly designed for the respective printers and can be used directly. The STL file is available to anyone who wants to make special settings or use other printers. Thanks to the lightweight design, printing the 3MF files only requires around 150 g of filament.
Below we will show you how to optimally prepare your refill for printing on our MultiSpool. Regardless of whether you bought the MultiSpool in our shop or printed it yourself at home, the following steps are identical.
If you encounter problems when assembling your self-printed MultiSpool, please check the settings of your printer. You can find further help and a great community on our Discord .
Please note: Every MultiSpool you can buy in our shop is made of recycled PLA and should not be exposed to temperatures above 60°C!
Instructions
-
1
You have the two halves of your MultiSpool and a refill roll in front of you. Remove the foil from the refill and put the sticker to one side.
-
2
Lay the half with the wider spool core flat on the table and place the refill on the spool so that the cable ties slide into the notches provided.
-
3
Place the second half of the spool on the first (openings for cable ties offset by approx. 45°) and turn it slowly clockwise (with light pressure on the spool core) until both halves slide together and lock.
-
4
We designed the MultiSpool to lock in three positions, so you don't have to spend a long time turning and wiggling to find the lock.
-
5
Attention : First remove the cable tie that holds the end of the filament and pass it through one of the three pairs of holes to fix it.
-
6
Now you can remove the remaining cable ties without any worries, as the refill will not unwind on its own.
-
7
Now you can stick the enclosed sticker onto the designated place on the MultiSpool.
-
8
Done! Your MultiSpool is ready for use. We hope you enjoy printing.
-
9
The integrated scale allows you to see at any time how much filament is left on the spool.
-
10
Of course, our MultiSpool is compatible with the BambuLab AMS.
